Sad. The question is why did the Biden administration refuse a permit. Suspect it has to do with CRT, Antifa, and the Socialist movement.

CW4 Guy Butler thank you, I went and looked it up, then read the synopsis. I agree that the Sioux nation was lied to and that the Black Hills, including Rushmore, was given to them as part of the treaty. I don't know if the Sioux ever complained about fireworks at the monument. If so then okay no fireworks. If not then why this year? Takes me right back to my original question of why the Department of the Interior, the facility management of our national parks and monuments is refusing the permit this year.

CW4 Guy Butler so what really changed this year? From this I suppose that up until 2008 a permit was given. Last year a permit was given. This year no permit. I cannot think it is just because of a change in administration since both parties have held the White House, previously. I cannot think it was either the Senate or the House since the same thing applies. So why no permit this year? I am not positive what you are saying other than, perhaps, this year the Sioux feel it is time to exert their rights.
