Good morning Col Burroughs and Posse. I am going for my first vaccination this morning! Tom got his yesterday afternoon.
So many people stress over things that are just temporary. They work themselves up over what is not important in the long term. I taught my daughters the 2-2-2 rule... if you won't care about it in two hours, two days or two weeks, don't bother to get worked up about it now. It's saved her from much stress and anxiety. Before you react and certainly before you overreact, ask yourself if this is a long term or a temporary issue.

Lead me to the rock that is higher than I, for you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the enemy. Let me dwell in your tent forever! Let me take refuge under the shelter of your wings! I pray for a peaceful and secure night for the homeless, the despondent, the disabled veterans suffering from PTSD/TBI, neuralgias, phantom pain from amputated limbs, clinically depressed, manic and those evicted from small businesses and homes based on local through national decisions affecting the energy industries and construction industries and societal outcasts along with their family members. 'Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.’ [2 Corinthians 1:3-4 ESV]
I pray for solid and trustworthy support for the lonely, the widows, the widowers and the orphans tonight LORD. I pray for permanent and secure housing for the homeless and appropriate business office/building for those who lost their small businesses due to the energy decisions by the POTUS Joe Biden administration. Hopefully the evicted business families are in secure single family or secure apartments. ‘Everyone who comes to me and hears my words and does them, I will show you what he is like: he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when a flood arose, the stream broke against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built.’ [Luke 6:47-48 ESV]
I lift the individuals in temporary housing including apartments, town and city parking garages, and sidewalk tent communities to YOU LORD. I pray that YOU protect them from harm and weather tonight and through the weekend. ‘Hear my cry, O God, listen to my prayer; from the end of the earth I call to you when my heart is faint.
