I have a question as to what is the process for learning a foreign language in the army? Is this only MOS specific? Is there a way to put a packet for a foreign language?

SPC (Join to see) Language training is MOS specific, AND if it is required as part of the MTOE. Kind of a 94F doesn't need a language, and it isn't authorized as part of my unit's MTOE, so I wouldn't get a packet approved. However, CMF 35 can attend language schools, but it would need to be required in the MTOE.

Once you are a specialist promotable, you can go come a 38A CivilAffairs Specialist. Your medical background will be used.
