That's why I always advise to change your DNS resolver. Don't use your ISP to do DNS for you. Use Google DNS or better yet use Cisco's OpenDNS.

Do you do that manually or with an app like DNS Jumper?

Personally I use pihole to handle my DNS list and it uses Cisco open DNS as it's resolver. I changed my DHCP setting in the router so it issues my pihole as the DNS server for all connected devices.
