I always found that sliding a snickers in the gas Tank did a lot more damage . You cannot just flush the fuel system you have to remove all the lines and replace them, you cannot flush the hardened caramel and the bits and pieces of peanuts that are in the fuel tank, have to be removed by taking the tank off and flushing the tank repeatedly till all the whole nuts and the small pieces are out so they do not clog the system at a later time or just put a new tank on.
