It was also the amount of years of service that each general had. TIS was coming to an end. Time to retire. They can lead in times of war. But the political arena is still different for them also.

Did some Generals believe because President Trump was an outsider, they were to tell him what to do? If so, their assumption was highly incorrect. We wanted them to work alongside him, not against him.
President Trump was voted into office by 63 million Americans to drain the swamp, clean out the bureaucratic resistance by arrogant entitled know-it-alls who think they have right to block policies put in place by a failed elitist globalist disastrous agenda.

Just a couple of observations, 63M was 46% of the votes cast, 30% of the registered voters and only 19% of the USA. Please check any 5 (reputable) news outlets and get back to us on how Trump has drained the swamp. Then compare how Trump and his family have spoken about, these Patriotic men who served their country, versus some one like Roger Stone.

Jim as this chart is inapposite of answering the question of the 5 prevalent mainstream news sources you hold in regard as factual.
As with my original comment Jim, if some of our Generals appointed to serve as an advisory body to our President of the United States Donald Trump, were of the assumption since President Trump has never served public office, believed they were to tell him what to do say in differentiation of an unfledged Jeb Bush Presidency, they were wrong.
