Weird. My daughter had fun looking for candy in our house and backyard in her costume. Kids are more resilient than people think.
Just like I thought her birthday in July was a bust. Went to beach. Rained within 45 min. Went home. Made her a cake. Her siblings called sang Happy Birthday. She says 'this is the best birthday ever" at the end of the day.
