Biden: We’re Going “Door-to-Door” to Make Sure All are Vaccinated

Biden said “Now we need to go community by community, neighborhood by neighborhood and often times door-to-door- literally knocking on doors, to get help to the remaining people protected from the virus” (Fox News). From Dan Crenshaw: How about don’t knock on my door. You’re not my parents. You’re the government. Make the vaccine available, and let people be free to choose. Why is that concept so hard for the left? (Twitter). From RedState’s Bonchie: …by what authority does the federal government have the right to knock on the doors of those who haven’t been vaccinated to pressure them into it? I understand public service announcements and such, but this seems many levels beyond that. No one, especially someone from the government, should be going to people’s houses to demand private medical decisions of them. Is the goal here to just hand out pamphlets? If so, then why not just say that instead of being so vague about the intentions at play? (RedState). https://redstate.com/bonchie/2021/07/06/joe-biden-says-hes-coming-to-your-door-and-serious-questions-are-raised-n407458
From Marc Thiessen: Former presidents George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter were all invited to record public service ads urging Americans to get vaccinated. The only former president not included was the one whose voice could have made the biggest difference — Trump. This makes no sense. Today, it is Trump supporters who are most likely to remain unvaccinated. The 20 U.S. states with the highest vaccination rates all voted for Biden in 2020. Meanwhile, most of the 22 states with the lowest vaccination rates went for Trump — including almost all of the states with vaccination rates below 50 percent (Washington Post). https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2021/07/06/how-biden-can-win-over-vaccine-hesitant/

Good morning, ma'am. Maybe I need to put up a placard on my door:
NO, I am not vaccinated, I can think.
NO, I don't want the vaccine, I can read.
If you can read this thank a Veteran.

A1C Mike Allen If you recall as I do, when we entered the military we rolled up our sleeves and were shot with vaccine guns. WAS IT VOLUNTARY? DID YOU HAVE A CHOICE TO DECLINE? NO!
This however is voluntary and probably should be discretionary, but, however, it seems to be working so why defy the odds that it is going to do more good for you than harm?

Thank you my friend and sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown for posting the Salem Radio News Daybreak Insider [that I also receive each weekday] extract focused on the unsurprising news that POTUS Biden wants a door-to-door campaign to convince people to get vaccinated.
No surprise that the POTUS who believes that COVID19 and Global Warming/Climate Change are war issues :-)
I know three people who should never be vaccinated because of grave risk to their health - my 97-year old mother-in-law, two cousins of my wife who have sever health issues.

Biden Announces Door-to-Door Outreach to Boost Vaccinations
President Joe Biden all but announced an end to the pandemic in the U.S. on Sunday, celebrating what he called a “heroic” vaccination campaign on the country’s Independence Day holiday.
Speaking at a party on the White House’s South Lawn with more than 1,000 people in attendance, Biden declared that the U.S. had achieved “independence” from the coronavirus, though he cautioned against complacency with more transmissible variants circulating in the country.
“Today, all across this nation, we can say with confidence: America is coming back together,” Biden said to a cheer from the invited guests. “Today, while the virus hasn’t been vanquished, we know this: It no longer controls our lives, it no longer paralyzes our nation and it’s within our power to make sure it never does so again.”
He appealed for Americans who have not yet been vaccinated to get their shots, noting that the country’s battle against the virus had been costly, with more than 603,000 Americans dead. “It’s the most patriotic thing you can do,” Biden said."
