Good morning COL Mikel J. Burroughs and what an appropriate choice for Pearl Harbor Day.
We have our freedom because of those who are willing to go to battle to preserve it. Let us never forget that. Otherwise things could and would be quite different. I never feared going wherever America chose to send me because I knew I had the backing of the nation and of my brothers and sisters in arms when I was there. May it always be so.

I hope you are grateful for those who served in the military in WWII who laid their lives on the line to keep this nation free Charlie.
I pray that you and I are cognizant the fact that spiritual warfare is the primary threat we face, my friend and sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown.
LORD God I thank you for the Armor of God which YOU make available to each adopted child of YOURS: Defensive armor loins girded with truth; the breastplate of righteousness; feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; the shield of faith and the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
I pray that each person who reads this prayer will treat each military veteran of WWII, the Korean War, the Cold Wat and the Vietnam War with respect and honor whenever we interact with these veterans.
Empower each prayer warrior to intercede for homeless veterans, mentally disturbed veterans including those afflicted with TBI and/or PTSD as well as their family members.
LORD I lift widows, widowers, orphans and prisoners to YOU as Christmas approaches. I pray that YOU bless Angel Tree and similar ministries which minister the family members – especially children of incarcerated parents. Turn the heart/soul of each prisoner and their children towards YOU and build up trust within each as well as compassion and love. Restore as many relationships as YOU are willing to.
I pray that each one of YOUR adopted children and their loved ones slept well Friday night.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

I have always thought this quote defined a generation. A Nation that saved the world- despite what the negative is around the world- they need to consider what kind of world it would be without us.

Thank you for your encouraging remark and follow-on meme.
A father who has taught his son the history of his country in all aspects, good or bad, has done his son well for knowledge of such things will serve him a lifetime.
Your father is quite right in his assessment.

(Join to see) I merely asked, since you said you had this knowledge, to give solid references. You certainly had no reason to call me wilfully ignorant! I generally agree w your position on FDR, but, if one is going to stand as an "authority", one had better be able to back it up. That's all I requested. Good day!

Jennifer Lee (Doerflinger) Hill - I apologize for any misappropriation of words but I NEVER put myself as an authority, I merely shared my opinion of fdr. But, you continued to 'hound' me with the same questions, wanting an 'easy' answer. I merely said to look it up online as I had done. Please desist ! TY !

Good morning COL Mikel Burroughs and all the rest of my RP Family.I have often wondered what the world would look like today, had not Pearl Harbor propelled us into the waging war of the time. Would most of Europe be speaking German? What would Japan look like without the bombing and rebuilding with the aid of the US? Sometimes we fight because we must, when our inclination is to exist in peace. The world today forces us to live with a military force second to none to ensure our peace from war within our borders. We as a nation need to always keep God as our protector, as we kneel in prayer in repentance for our sins and rely on Him for our strength. I am proud to be a Veteran and would serve again if necessary and able. God bless our Military and God bless the USA. May you be blessed today and always.

Ephesians 6:10-20 ESV

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
