Vietnam POWs Reunion at the Nixon Library - 40th Anniversary

I have often wondered what became of them after being liberated. The look so happy on the freedom flight, but did they lead happy lives?

Interesting share. From when I became old enough to vote in January or 1970 through 2007 I was a registered Democrat and last voted in a Democratic primary in 2012. In 1980 I was a Jimmy Carter delegate to the Washington State Democratic Convention. But I was damn proud to vote for Richard Milhous Nixon for election as MY President in 1972 -- four an half months after the Watergate break-in and arrests. And I'm still pissed off over his being forced out of office, leaving us with that POS Gerald Ford. Argue and ridicule me all you want, but I feel that Nixon was, beyond compare, the best President of the United States in my 71 year lifetime -- based on what I hope to see in a President. Salute to the POWs!
