I guess it helps that movie theaters, malls, churches, and schools are closed.

Also, it is very difficult to have a mass shooting if the malls, churches, schools, and movie theaters are closed, along with many places of business.

There are other risks to consider with new panic buying gun ownership by novice owners. It also means a gun in home and they have never had one until now. Many people do not know how to handle them safely and with kids in the home having possible access is another problem. Then there is the issue of couples spending time together they never had before and under the stress of being unable to distance themselves as before. Domestic violence and access to a gun can be real problem.

When new gun owner no longer feels a need keep a gun, after things calm down and it will, what will they do then? They can't take the gun back for a refund. They are stuck with it. So, sell it, maybe to someone they don't know off the street's or into the GRAY MARKET. It has to be legally transferred
by ATF rules but how many novice gun owner know how to properly rid themselves of a firearm they no longer need?

Just some thoughts on the back side of new gun ownership today. Speaking as a gun owner for over
60 years and as a firearms dealer I pick and choose who I sell a gun to.
