MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D. - Every C-5 I've been on was loaded. I've ridden in the passenger compartment up in the tail of a C-5, which faces backwards. I think it hold 50 pax and it was fully loaded with troops. Down stairs in the cargo bay was much better.

SrA Ronald Moore Actually they used to Provide One. Usually a "Box" lunch with Bologna Sandwich with Milk. Pretty Nasty Unless You got a C-9 Nightingale Flight, On C-9s they had Hot Meals for the "Patients".

On a space A hop from Rhein Main to Mildenhall they had a box with snack foods; just help yourself.
I always enjoyed my flights on a C-130 more than flying cattle class on the airlines.
