I commissioned May and it still says E5 on mypay and I can't even go on GBR orders or do much of anything. Can anyone offer assistance?

Patience. I commissioned in December and didn't get FEDREC until April.
All of your pay will be backpaid and everything with be backdated. And if you're worried about BOLC, if they send you while you're still an E-5, that will just accelerate the process to getting promoted to O-1. It happened to a buddy of mine who got sent to Engineering BOLC while still and "E-5" despite being commissioned for two months. Needless to say he got FEDREC before I did.

It's ridiculous I tell ya man. For instance iv'e had my gold bar orders pushed back several times and several of my colleagues who have applied for civilian jobs have had the door close on them because of the big question mark on military obligation.

I pushed carts in a Lowe's parking lot for four months before beginning Aviation BOLC. It sucks, believe me, but for me at least its been worth the wait.

I see you are ARNG, are you awaiting FEDREC? Sorry to break it to you if you are not aware sir, but officer appointments and promotions in the guard (including warrant officers) can take up to six months or even longer sometimes to get FEDREC'd, even after your state has cut you orders. Have you checked the ARNG G1 website to check your status?

I'm concerned because I couldn't even attend any assignments nor start Gold Bar recruiting or any of the multiple AT missions offered this year. I've been heart stuck on going into the Sheriffs Department of my county and balance both worlds but the waiting is making me think otherwise about staying in.

You need to get with your state OSM (Officer strength Manager) and have him push up your signed NGB 62E (APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL RECOGNITION) to your State OPM. Make sure that he also includes your signed NGB Form 337 (NG OATHS OF OFFICE) as that will be needed as well. This will help expedite your NGB 0123E (FEDREC) and code you in the system. Please reach out to me if you need help on my end.

NGB 62E should have already been processed if he is pinned... I think he is just waiting for his FEDREC...
