America Is Relying on a “Warrior Caste” of Military Families to Fight Its Wars. That’s a Problem....

My Mom served, along with my Grandfather, Uncle, two Uncle-in-Laws, five Cousins, and a Brother-in-law; my younger brother currently serves along with me, and we've had the stressful pleasure of incidentally crossing paths in combat, during the Troop Surge 07'. I don't have an issue with my two sons making the choice to serve in the future, even though this article makes a good point.
Do you think the article makes a valid argument?

Same here - great great grandfather, grandfather, father, uncles, father-in-law and all 4 of his brothers and myself. You have to consider military brats are raised in and by the military community - I knew nothing but the military for a good chunk of my life. I think brats have a better understanding of what life in the military means - the constant moving, respect - yes sir no ma'am and as well at least for me seeing and experiencing the different branches. For me this article definitely rings a bell. By the way thank you and your family for their service.
