RP Members and Connections come join us Sunday evening for "Warriors for Life" Online Group Support. Victory For Veterans Advocates on behalf of Veterans. The Group Support is lead by COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs each Sunday evening over the last three years. We invite guest speakers periodically, but mostly we just listen, establish trust, build stronger bonds, and make sure there is no judgment. Most of our current membership is made of RP Members. Please feel free to message me here on RallyPoint if you have more questions (or) you can email me privately at: [login to see]
We're looking for someone to join our team and become a facilitator only, so we can expand to other weekday evenings online for those who can't make the Sunday evening group session. Again, reach out to me if you want to volunteer about one hour of your time on a weekday evening. I'll give you all the tools you need to be a great facilitator.
Our weekly online support groups deal with folks dealing with PTS, TBI, MST or other disabilities or challenges?
In addition to our weekly online support calls we have a closed, private and confidential facebook group where further conversations and connections can be made.
Please connect with me COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs on Facebook first and I'll add you to the group: https://www.facebook.com/mikel.burroughs.9
Do you wish someone would just listen?
You can also click on the Contact Us button on the link above and request information on joining a group online. These groups are “by invitation only” and are closed groups. We add individuals we believe can benefit from associating with a group.
A team member will be in touch with you shortly (or) COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs will get in touch with you via RallyPoint or personal email, if you wish.
If you need a reference from another "Warrior for Life" member, please feel free to message me here or email me and I'll provide you with a reference.

COL Mikel Burroughs. Your truly a leader where it counts. I love the substance. Not just a leader in name. Thanks for all you do.

PFC Sandra Wade Thank you and I just wanted to let everyone know this is an online program where all the members dial into a video conference meeting on Sunday evenings. Everyone joins in from the comfort of their own home. I corrected the post to indicate it was online only. Sorry for the confusion.

This is a great cause for which I feel my time would be best spent. I volunteer to join the RP staff as Facilitator, if this is online and I can do the needful remotely. I will message you separately COL Burroughs Sir. Thanks for this opportunity. COL Mikel J. Burroughs

Got it sent you an email separately Sir and perhaps it is a distance too far for me too, unless the facilitation is online. COL Mikel J. Burroughs

Research is great, therapy/treatment is wonderful, but why no support for more local peer interface groups to augment follow-up options?
