1SG Steven Imerman I am very happy that entertainers are taking a voice on this issue. But, as much as I love Denzel Washington, when he did that movie Training Day, it shook my core. Because every young person and person in general to see him sign off on that character just ate up his image as the the angel in the Preacher's Wife with Whitney Houston and Courtney Vance, The Seige as an FBI terrorist agent, Glory as a soldier, Bone Collector as a disabled police officer, Roman J Israel, Esquire a dedicated unsuccessful lawyer and I could go on and on. I am careful to judge my own missteps. But more influencial people should come out about these issues.

Agreed, on all counts. I've started Training Day twice but never watched it to the end.

1SG Steven Imerman I have watched it numerous times, with tears in my heart. Denzel gave an interview where he was asked about taking that role. He could not seem to reconcile what brought about him taking that role. It appeared to me to be a great regret to him.
