I have mentioned negative speak before- as a runner that is the kiss of death. Confidence in yourself and your abilities- as well as the team around you can help you overcome anything. Great thoughts today Col.

I pray that you and I use our God-given abilities for good in the lives of those we love as well as relative strangers, my friend and brother-in-Christ Maj Marty Hogan.
LORD YOU give each of abilities and capabilities. YOU work through our weakness to YOU glory and to our edification as well as to onlookers
None of us have inherent ability to be good parents or grandparents. Most of us desire to be good husband/wife, a good parent and eventually a good grandparent. Yet we each struggle at times to communicate and listen. It is by YOUR grace that love grows in spite of our weakness, frailty, and pigheadedness :-)
I pray LORD that you bless each husband/father and wife/mother reading this prayer with grace to be good spouse and parent. Cover over our mistakes in love, dear God. Redeem the time the locusts have eaten in grown children and make the way for reparations of love between generations.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Good morning COL Mikel J. Burroughs Another workout completed.
Ability, an interesting quality. I like this quote. It speaks to me. I refuse to allow what I cannot do to interfere with what I can. So very true as I am in recovery and working to see how far I can go. I got frustrated at one point and the response was: It's been 4 weeks! Give it time.
What is it that you cannot do and what can you do instead?

Lt Col Charlie Brown - You can actually amaze yourself Charlie on the abilities you posses when you really put your heart and soul into a project, an objective, or dream. Everyone has that ability Charlie, they just need to bring it to the surface. I'm glad that you're making great progress with the therapy, but that is because you have the right attitude, desire and will power to work through the pain and the failures that come somedays when you least expect them. Anyway, enough said Charlie, Great quote and great wisdom for today's message as always. You and Tom enjoy the rest of your weekend, see you here tomorrow morning Charlie!
