Hopefully you and I are devoted first to the LORD and secondarily to our family members and trusted friends. It is only to the degree that we place the LORD first in our life that our other relationships can blossom. I trust that we treat each person with respect and honor since we understand that the soul of each person is created in the image of God. After all the only permanent aspect of this life is relationship which like the Word of God is stored in our soul. ‘Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.’ [Matthew 6:19-20, ESV]
I lift the radical rioters, looters, their managers, controllers and financial backers in the USA, Canada, India, Europe as well as the leaders in communist China to YOU LORD. Do what it takes to shake these people to their core and draw as many to YOU as YOU are willing. I recognize that in YOUR perfect timing YOU will burn the rest like chaff. Thankfully YOU are in complete control of all including the situations in Seattle, Washington; Portland, Oregon, Kenosha, Wisconsin; Washington, D.C.; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and New York City. YOU are working all to good for the Body of Christ corporately and individual believers as well. Too many of these have taken advantage of the elderly within their care. Let love reign in our lives. Empower each of us to be hospitable to whoever YOU draw towards us or us towards them. 'Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality.' [Romans 12:9-13 ESV].
