Who are you? What's your identity? A lot of people struggle with this and confuse their "role/s" with their core identity. And what happens when that role changes? Are you lost? What makes up the essence of your being and are you comfortable with that identity?

I pray you that I are spiritually mature enough to appreciate and thank God for whatever circumstances we are in and going through. 'Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. I lift the school-age children who have been cooped up at home since March away from personal contact with friends and acquaintances. I pray that their family members demonstrate love to them and build up their sense of who they are. I pray each child is secure in who they are – especially the children of the adopted children of YOU dear LORD. I pray that those individuals who are school bullies are being turned from that attitude and that most are seriously repenting from their abusive behavior.
I pray that YOUR love is shining through each of us and penetrating hardened hearts across this nation, as well as UK, France, Germany, Israel, Jordan, Syria, Greece, Turkey, Canada, Mexico, India, and Australia. Godly love is the only antidote to gut-level hatred. I pray that YOU are doing a mighty work across the earth. Help and empower each of us to demonstrate YOUR love to those hurting and angry around us. 'Love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.' [1 Corinthians 13:4-5 ESV]
I lift the frontline medical staff members, police members, EMT personnel, and teachers to YOU dear LORD. I pray that YOU bless each with good mental and physical health. I pray that YOU empower each use good judgement as they deal with the public while they are working for the good of the people they are interacting with.
I pray that YOU turn the hearts and minds of most the radical protesters away from destruction and they come to repentance. For those who refuse to repent, I pray YOU withdraw blessing from them unless they repent from criminal acts.
I pray that YOU are pruning each of the elected leaders, legislators, appointed officials, and judges throughout the USA, [as well as Australia, Canada, Mexico, India, Europe, Africa, Philippines, Japan, Korea, Central and South America]. I pray that the trustworthy, honest, and humble are being built up and the deadwood is being eliminated through election, death, criminal proceedings as appropriate. I pray that YOU save as many of these individuals as possible for their sakes, their family members, and their constituents.
I pray that each one of YOUR adopted children and your loved ones sleep well Friday night and will awake healthy on Saturday morning.
