COL Mikel J. Burroughs "Life IS Too Short Day"
My brothers and sisters, that is one of life's understatements. When I was in Jr. High School a couple of years ago, I heard my mom say "I blink my eyes and you kids are grown" I thought mom is loosing it. Now, a short time later, my own child is on the verge of 30 and some where in the past few years I've aged 40 years. SOMEBODY EXPLAINE THAT.
Smell the roses today, for tomorrow they fade away. Don't walk away angry from family and friends, you maybe making amends at their grave side. Don't get wrapped up in things today that will rob you of the blessing of memories tomorrow.
November 29th marks the second anniversary of my mother's passing and the last thing she heard me say, I LOVE YOU MOM, amen.
"Life IS TOO Short Day" IT IS. Rally Point brothers and sisters, I hold you all so dear and you ALL are dearly loved.

Good Friday afternoon, my friend and brother-in-Christ CPL Dave Hoover.
Heavenly Father, YOUR patience seems limitless at times and yet we are grateful that YOU are patient, absolutely just, merciful and gracious. YOUR patience with humanity has resulted in many loved ones coming to saving faith in YOU including me.
Lord, both joy and patience are fruit of the Holy Spirit. I pray that YOU will bless each of YOUR adopted children who read this with an abundance of joy in the midst of patience.
Enable us to be childlike and playful as we interact with those around us and give us wisdom when to be childlike and when to act “mature.” We can simultaneously be mature and childlike in wonder, mirth and trust.
Release YOUR boundless joy to those who are grieving loss this season and to those who are separated from family and friends.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.
