The best is yet to come. We all work towards retirement to hopefully enjoy the things we have worked for. Stay young at heart and don't sweat the small stuff. Great thoughts today Col. Headed home and have about 8 hours of driving in front of us. Great time off to help us stay young at heart.

I have no immediate plans to slow anything down, I'm retired from both the USAF and a Civilian Police Department but I still work and plan to keep doing so. My Dad who is 92 still works and neither He or my mother even have mobility issues and neither do I. I figure even though I'm now in My 70s I have along time to go and still do the things I've always done. (sometimes slower though ) I've know people in their 40s who were old, I'm in My 70s and I'm not old ! Attitude has a lot to do with that !

SMSgt Lawrence McCarter - zactly. I had senior NCOs that were 35 and looked 75; conversely I had seniors in the Guard that are close to 60 and look about 35. I just finished my PT for the year and scored 99.7% and missed 100% by about 35 seconds on the run. I feel better now than I did at 25- I am slower and the balance is not what it once was, but my mom is 78 and still sharp and lives by herself. I am looking to retire by the end of 2021 and will have more than enough projects to keep me busy.

Good morning COL Mikel J. Burroughs great motivational quotes today I like them all, but I'm going with " It's a privilege to grow old, some don't get to."
I agree with Gertrude Stein "we're always the same age inside" until I stand up.

Have a Blessed and great Tuesday Mikel,Bella and family and RP family.
