I missed this movie completely when I was in High School. This Ramones Rock and Roll High School movie was a low-budget classic from 1979. I did not see it until after I graduated from high school. U2 and many countless bands have been influenced by this punk rock group. Joey Ramone died over 15 years ago and U2 did a song about them about 5 years ago. Some people in this movie will look familiar to you. The biggest fan of the Ramones was one of the military police that found comedian Bill Murray in stripes.

Thanks LTC (Join to see) for sharing the Ramones Rock and Roll High School movie from 1979 when I was a year away from graduating from USMA and being commissioned as an Infantry Officer. The punk rock scene was big in NY City in those days
