They also grant money to help local shooting clubs build safe, suitable shooting ranges. And train folks of all ages in safe operation of firearms. The humanity!

Those who disparage the NRA are ignorant of how much good that organization does. I've taken NRA safety & marksmanship classes as a Boy Scout & as a Peace Officer. The National Rifle Association of America is our nation's foremost advocate for gun safety (in spite of what Broward County Sheriff Israel says).

Very true. Once again, they would receive proper instruction, including in ethics, thereby reducing the probability that they would ever think shooting up a school or any other ‘gun-free zone’ was noble, virtuous or a proper use of their skills.
