As a part of me wanting to keep up my 2003 1500 Silverado 4x with only 49K on the 5.3L motor, I replaced the rotors and brake shoes and new shocks. They weren't really needing to be changed but I did it anyways. I don't try to know how long it would take to get to 60, she is too much of a lady.

SPC Nancy Greene Wow, what in the world do you have under the hood? That is dragster speed on nitro! Quick calculation indicates the 0 to 60 in 1.9 seconds would = 1.44 G Forces and that is pretty amazing. You have some great HP in that Vette Nancy and probably the envy of a lot of Corvette Club members. Drive safe and hope your significant other is a Trooper because I know from time to time you probably have a need for speed as that Verte talks to you on straight aways. Stay safe.

PO2 Frederick Dunn I remember those. Looked like they belonged on a runway rather than a road.

I see a lot of the Dodge Challengers on the road where I live.

I would love to be living in a small town again. I live in metro Atlanta to be near my daughter. She and my two grandsons are my only remaining family.

PO2 Frederick Dunn I like where I live; however, my daughter really ‘trashed’ my house. I have been working on it for two years and am not even half finished. I have boxes which I haven’t unpacked since 2005 and I am getting really burnt out on renovations. Still have my master to start on and my office to finish. I might get done this year or next...every now and the, I have to go to the beach to get away from the mess.PO2 Frederick Dunn

PO2 Frederick Dunn, hope you get to see your grandsons. My daughter was ‘Court-ordered’ out of my home in 2018, so there was a protective order in place for a year. She took the kids out of the only home they ever had and, now, they are living in a trailer and my grandson is having serious behavior issues. She also has a problem with alcohol. She got a DWI New Year’s Eve of 2017. She has no car, no license, and is on Probation. She has MH issues and caused me a lot of trouble as a teen. She spent 6 months in Juvenile Detention and a year at a wilderness camp. I am convinced she has Schizophrenia.PO2 Frederick Dunn

Dear Nancy. I’m so sorry to hear of all the tragedy that you’ve had to endure. My relationship with my daughter is pretty good and my son-in-law and my two grandsons as well. But they live very busy lives and have virtually no time for me so I am pretty much alone in the world these days. I can only imagine how painful that must be for you to watch the decline in your daughters life and the resulting pain in the life of your grandson. I will remember you always in my prayers.
