It's 5:15 pm here in the greater Boston Area under perfectly crystal clear skies and a light breeze with a temp of about 78°!
Just a half hour or so I posted a song by Elvis Presley, which was one he recorded later in his career when he sang a large number of Gospel songs... But before that He was a "Rocker" and sang a vast number of "rocking hits" One of those songs was entitled "Blue Suede shoes", which was quite popular back in the day!!! A singer by the name of Carl Perkins also sang this song about the same time as Elvis released his version...
The Version I have selected is a 1956 performance aboard a U.S> Navy AIrcraft Carrier, the name of which I could not find...However, the performance was a part of the late comedian Milton Berle show doing a USN benefit show... This was the music of my teen years along with such notables as Bill Haley and the Comets, Carl Perkins, The Platters, and a whole host of others... Yep, I am dating myself, but the music was great then and is great now...and since I love most all kinds of music, it's all good!

Carl Perkins was really good CW5 Jack Cardwell I saw him sing when I was a teen at a County Fair... One of my favs back then!!!
