This sailor is clearly misguided. I understand that she wants to have support her agenda, but by taking the oath to protect and defend the constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic and to bear true faith and allegiance to the same, she put that right on hold. Additionally, her disrespect is punishable by UCMJ for failing to follow the orders of those appointed over her. I will excuse her behavior as soon as the Chief of Naval Operations orders her to sit down. Until then this sailor needs to stand up at attention just like everyone of us and understand that there are consequences for your actions. People that are subject UCMJ action have their security clearances revoked until the issue is resolved.

She has only added to the hypocrisy, she will not stand for the Anthem because of "the land of the free" but complains about loosing her security clearance because she failed to stand by her pledge to "obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice."

Under my command she would have lost much more than clearance.

There has to be more to the story, but lack of patriotism, demomstrated by disrespect toward our nation's flag, opens a case against her. She is a PO2, so she should not behave this way.
