I saw the Title and thought it was something Humorous. It is somewhat in a sarcastic sense. It has a lot of good info on the 2A and possible scenarios for SCOTUS to consider.

My preference is concealed carry, and even when I can legally open-carry, I rarely do. I prefer to have the element of surprise.

Other than when I was a street cop, the only open carry for me was when I went hunting and carried a sidearm as a backup. Then that was on a utility belt along with my knife/knives, for the purpose of up close and personal or for skinning or field dressing my killed critter.

If you consider covered, concealed then I carry concealed. Only to keep some people from spasming out.

For many, I believe it is a fashion statement, unfortunately.
