Bet it would be, but I don't own one. I have a sweet scoped .22 that would do the trick, except I just don't hunt anything that doesn't have feathers.

I prefer my 17 to the 22 and no more 12gauge for me. To hard on my wore out shoulder

I shoot the 12 just fine, only I made the mistake of buying a 5.7 pound Benelli 20 gauge (Montefeltro), and now my favorite 12, a Weatherby, feels like a cannon to carry around. And it's light for a 12.
