Also when will I be able to come back and move my family? The PCS will be from TN to Carson. Any tips that could help me? Thanks in advance!

Check your orders, you should be able to take your family with you. Don't try to do too much at once when you get there, at 6480 feet of elevation the air is thin and takes some getting used to.

At least he is from Tennessee. He should have some familiarity with mountains. Oh wait, Tennessee has hills.

Thank you sir! I looked up the UIC from my orders and it says the replacement company so this make a lot of sense. Thank you again for the reply, sir.

When I re-enlisted in Korea for Ft. Carson, I knew where I would likely be assigned and where I hoped to get. I called the unit I wanted and told them I was available if they wanted to pull some strings, they did and that is where I ended up going.
It helps that I had been in that unit before and they knew me well.
