Good morning Rally Point. Busy Saturday ahead. I have a session with the trainer and I will be working with my mentee over at the gym as well. She's very anxious and a big part of this will be keeping her motivated while her muscles recover from the trauma of the surgery.
Late night calls seem to be becoming the routine around here. I have to say, they do not help the sleep process.

Try getting a veteran who starts talking about ending it all (suicide) at 03:15 (am), and you have not had much sleep yourself and you have to be in (start), work at 07:00 (am). He is in Alaska...and I am in Fl. Not much I could do but talk him down a bit and refer him to the Veterans Crisis Line. Now, if I were in Anchorage, I could have driven there and handled it myself in person. It turned out good in the end.

So glad to hear the end result. I appreciate what you did so much. It's tough in the middle of the night especially when you can't physically reach that person. Thanks for doing it. You're my hero of the day!

Great job, Scott. It is kind of a helpless feeling to be so far away when you get a call like that. Glad you were able to help your friend.
