41 Magnum vs 44 Magnum

I love the .41 magnum. My father was issued a S&W Model 58 along with 49 other troopers. His department was doing a test and evaluation. Don't remember the date mid to late 60s.The guns were on loan from S&W. He loved the caliber so much he bought a Ruger Blackhawk in that caliber. My father was 6ft 5 with hands like baseball mitts. He loved the Model 58 but the majority of troopers did not like the big gun so it was not adopted. I own three handguns and one rifle in this caliber
