I have the Mark 3. Still a major pain to break down compared to the Mark 4.

I have the old style 22/45. It's a bit of a pain, but once you have figured it out and the gun is broken in a bit, it's not as horrible as some make it out. I did remove the magazine safety from mine.

CPT Lawrence Cable - Mine is the 22/45 as well. Its virtually brand new so I'm sure if I shoot it and take it down more often it would loosen up a bit.

TSgt David L. - I highly suggest getting the bushing that replaces the magazine safety, which causes some of the disassembly problem, for more to the point, the reassembly problem. Then it's just a matter of getting the sear into position to get the mainspring back in place.

CPT Lawrence Cable - I'll have to look into that. Thanks for the heads up.
