People are still playing a very dangerous game with our Republic. We have over 240 years of history of peaceful transition of power and the Trump supporters want to end that. I fear they do not understand the consequences. We had a long hard struggle to design a system of compromise, of elections, of uniting. Now because of a spoiled child, they are willing to throw that history away and attempt to install a dictator. That is exactly what Trump would become if he won this misguided path. Does anyone really believe if by some wildest stretch of the imagination, Trump was returned to the White House we would ever again see a free and open election? His own words argue against that.

Be careful my fellow Americans, be very careful. You are marching on fragile ground. It could very well rise up and swallow us all.

Then the United States of American will be nothing more than a failed golden idea from history.

Using Constitutional provisions is not a threat to the republic.
The fact is, there are serious questions about the election, which could be solved if matters were more transparent.
Was it dangerous when we had all these Obama Administration officials going on TV and bald-faced lying to the public about "Collusion"?
Was it dangerous when that morphed into a special consul that turned up a hot nothing?
Was it dangerous when impeachment was tried, knowing damned well what the result would be?

Well if it wasn't dangerous then, it isn't now. If it was dangerous then, don't be surprised when the same standards are applied to the next White House resident.

MSG Stan Hutchison - you are wasting your time with those guys. They think that they can continue to escalate, to ignore the rule of law, and to try and install their guy as the dictator of this country. They don't respect the ideas of their opponents, and they misjudge their countrymen, many of whom will fight back. Second, they are delusional, in their beliefs of conspiracy theories, and the innocence of their cult leader.

Capt Gregory Prickett - In my lifetime, we have suffered several fools in the White House. A couple of them were criminals, had they been tried as such. Yet the republic lives on. There is so much hyperbole out there I can't keep up - and I consume a lot of information. We'll be just fine on January 20th.
It is what happens when we get really tested that worries me.

So far, I have proved to be correct. Those supporting Trump refuse to face facts and do not see how dangerous their game is to our nation.

No one is attempting to end the peaceful transition of power. We're only trying to enforce the lawful transition of power. It's all in keeping with our oath to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC. Those who would steal an election through fraud are an enemy of the Constitution.

Mikel, you may want to run your scenario by a lawyer, because that is not how it works. Before it is counted with one vote per state in the House, the entire House has to agree to throw out the electors from that specific state, and that vote is by individual members, and the Dems hold the majority. There is no way that the House votes to toss the electors, meaning that you never get to a one vote per state in the House. See 3 USC 5 et seq.

Capt Gregory Prickett - Lookee here! You and I agree. However, the Democratic majority in the House is very, very thin and you just never know...

CPT Jack Durish - they haven't reached the evidentiary stage because most of them were dismissed, with prejudice, on a no-evidence motion for summary judgment (in some state courts) or a Rule 12(b)(6) motion in federal court.
