Do you believe that the Republicans are being hypocritical about this issue?

If so, please comment and expand on your thoughts.

The real question is why Democrats are being hypocritical about the issue. They were insisting that Clinton's tryst with Lewinski was his private life, nobody should care, blah blah blah, and yet now they are treating a prior-to-election tryst between Trump and a porn star as if it's a constitutional crisis.

LTC (Join to see) - Sir, the post has to do with hypocrisy. I can understand why you don't want to answer the question on that basis, but a non-answer allows the listener to make reasonable inferences based on that silence. It's just like you have an absolute right not to incriminate yourself, but if you plead the Fifth in a civil case, the Court will instruct the jury that they may infer that the party invoking the Fifth has something to hide.

Capt Gregory Prickett - Sure it is about hypocrisy … but it nonetheless attempts to draw an analogy … between two things that are not analogous. False equivalence. If some prosecutor tried to pull something like that on your client in court, you'd blow the prosecutor away.

Capt Gregory Prickett - "62% of the public believes that Trump is dishonest, compared to the 34% who believe him to be honest, and that's a ten point drop in his first year."

Since when is truth a matter of consensus. The third time the boy cried wolf, the consensus was he was lying.

Please do not mistake/imply that comment for me saying that President Trump doesn't lie. I accept that every politician lies, because I've learned though experience that every dog chews up something you don't want it to, and poops in the pathway. But I still find most dogs useful. No one with any sense would argue that politicians are smarter/better than dogs. :)

I don’t normally do this Capt Gregory Prickett, but I see you to have no honor in your arguments. You asked a question and then picked fights and called names that were not what you originally asked. I will no longer fellowship with you in debate. Say what you will from now on, I will not respond.

I will pray for you and the hatred you seem to have. May God bless and keep you!

LTC Stephan Porter - I'm sorry that you view things in such a binary way, that cannot accept that there are more than just conservative and leftists. What you are doing would be the equivalent of me claiming that you were a white supremacist racist because some of your arguments are the same as those of a white supremacist racist. I haven't said that and wouldn't say that because it is quite simply BS. But you seem to believe that if one does not believe as you believe, they must be a leftist, and that's incorrect. You have been informed in the past that I'm a former Republican who left the GOP because I cannot support someone like Trump and his racial and moral positions. It's been clear that I identify as a libertarian, who is fiscally conservative and also supportive of individual rights. That's not a leftist.

Yet you repeatedly try to label me as a leftist, while ignoring my comments or representations to you. That tells me that you don't care about what the truth is, that you just want to suppress those who disagree with you. You do it by labelling people without regard to their actual positions. It tells me that when you speak of a lack of honor, you should be looking in the mirror.

We're done.

I agree we are done Gregory Prickett; be well.

...But btw I am not binary in view; I just see your repeated statement (informing me) that you are not a leftist, but st every turn your <actions> belie your words. So you may be a fiscal conservative libertarian, I just don’t see that in the attacks and questions you ask; just you telling me you are.

So, until we can sit face to face and talk things through, it is best we are done!

Well let see, Clinton was not impeached for the affair it was for lying to congress about the affair. Plus as stated Clinton did this one affair while in office, Trumps if it happened was before. Both sides are hypocrites as far as politics goes.

Not really concerned about the morality question with Clinton or Trump. If a law was broken we have legal mechanisms in place. Unfortunately, senior political/government leadership in this country appear to be immune to the law. This is what frustrates most people. I know I dodged your question but I can't speak for all Republicans, only myself. I can, however, speak for all Democrats and do so on a regular basis. ;)

Oh, and this whole Muller Investigation is a joke. But I do agree it appears Trump did, in fact, collude with Stormy Daniels.
