Absolutely. Even when it's rough or things happen that irritate/discourage me, I never regret joining.

While I can't say I'm happy doing what I currently do in the military, I'm very glad I joined. I can hold a sense of pride in myself for what I've accomplished thus far, like making E-4 on my first shot. I just hope to be rid of the desk before too long.

Yes, I agree. I'm just hoping where I'm going in August will be a little more important to the cause, for lack of better wording.

The military, and combat service, prepares you for practically anything you're likely to encounter post military, so I'm both glad ... and proud!
