Does anyone know how to obtain a point system print out for retirement from the National Guard?

It's usually uploaded into your Reserve OMPF. You can always request a copy of your records

You would think that should be the case, but in my experience, if you didn't give your NG records to your career manager, then HRC doesn't have your NG records.

CPT Lawrence Cable I never gave mine to anyone and they're on my reserve OMPF. They appear to be an automated form and not scanned in by hand. So far, every NG prior service Soldier I've had to do a DA 1506 for has had it in their records.

SFC (Join to see) - It has been awhile since I have had to deal with it, I hope now that the two systems talk to each other. OTOH, we seem to get a lot of questions here that seem to indicate the retirement side is still a problem. I never had problems getting my TIS/TIG right or credit for schools and awards, but has far as HRC was concerned, all my Army National Guard time was blank for retirement point. I had to obtain a copy of the NGB 23 to get them to compute the real total.

When you left the National Guard, they should have sent a NGB 22, the equivalent of a DD214, and a NGB 23, Record of Retirement Points. If you didn't get them, you can call Human Resources at State Headquarters of the State you served and they should be able to take care of you. If you are on good terms with your old unit, the Admin Clerk may be able to pull them for you.

Good call on the NGB forms as I don't believe she has a deployment, which would have necessitated a DD-214. The unit Readiness NCO will not be able to pull her docs as he/she loses access at separation (no longer a part of the UIC).

1SG, so if I understand you correctly, my old unit will not be able to find anything out for me and I need to contact the state directly? Thank you.1SG (Join to see)

SPC Jessica Farringer - Correct. Once you separate, you fall off the unit's UIC and they do not have system access to your records. If they scanned/saved a copy locally on an AGR laptop/shared drive is a remote possibility.

The G-1 is probably going to be the only possible source since you separated from service. It is called a RPAM statement. The Recruiting folks at the branch you are trying to enter should have access to the same system. However, the only thing they should need is your DD-214 from when you exited service. Once you re-enter a service branch, they will use that DD-214 to calculate all of the appropriate dates and add your previous service to your new RPAM.

Never give up your last copy and hand carry documents are good rules for the road.

Absolutely! However, I never received the NGB 23 in my two years in. 1SG (Join to see)

SPC Jessica Farringer - you should have received the NGB 22/23 at separation. You should have received the RPAM annually from your Readiness NCO (usually about the same time as the promotion 4100s Oct-Dec).
