Which option gives me a better chance of transitioning from Reserves to AD, dropping a packet or seeing a recruiter after my ETS?

ETS is 1yr 10 months away. In a unique position; I just moved to California, not MOSq'd and will not have a 1yr left on my contract even if I do reclass with what little time I have left. Not sure this position plays in my favor but it's either getting out and trying or dropping the packet.

SGT (Join to see) - Dropping a Conditional Request now might work in your favor since you are not MOSQd and that hurts the unit metrics that the Commander can get ripped for.
