Speaking metaphorically?
Take and hold the "high ground". (Maintain a market reputation of quality over economy)
Maintain a "reserve" for critical moments. (Don't over-exercise working groups; find the pace)
Focus on accuracy of "fires" over "suppression". (Go after known PTM...don't chase every opportunity)
Don't commit without secure lines of "supply". (Ensure we can grow with the market)

Circle the wagons, trim the fat, cut sling load on unnecessary baggage, move out and draw fire.
