Capt Dwayne Conyers That sounds like good parenting! Yes, profiling is distasteful. Learning to deal with with it is vital!
All parents should counsel, (I certainly did), their children on safe behavior during a traffic stop or any other encounter with law enforcement personnel.
My elder son, in his 50s, loves to describe how careful he is to put his hands on the opened, window sill of his car when pulled over by the police.
