I come from an Aerospace Engineering background, but am interested in branching out into the IT world. I'd like to earn some credentials to supplement my ad-hoc experience and am interested in any good opportunities available.

Could consider bootcamps. Some are free, paid for by the companies that partner with them and hire from them. They change from time to time so I'd search for the current crop.

I am using tuition assistance to get a masters degree in computer science. I'm in Georgia Tech's OMSCS program, specifically. It's cheap enough for tuition assistance to cover (even cheap enough to consider paying out of pocket if you have no tuition assistance) and it has a fairly low floor for admissions, especially for a masters program. I plan on doing the same career transition to computer science/programming/development (except my background is music education).
