Good morning Col Burroughs and Posse. Interesting topic and I will be back to post more after I get Tom to the airport.
Copacetic is not static. It's dynamic and requires constant energy and adjustment or things go out of alignment. It is a balance and all of us who have been in leadership positions understand that as we've worked to balance mission and people and seen that swing back and forth many times over the course of an assignment or sometimes even a week or less.
Finally made it back; unfortunately all the construction made it impossible to exit where I usually do so I got a tour of the county on the way home...LOL. Copacetic now that I am back home with the cats.

You are absolutely correct Lt Col Charlie Brown and get back safe from dropping off Tom at the airport (safe travels for Tom)... it does require constant energy and adjustment for anyone or any leader Charlie. I look forward to your other thoughts today...

“The word copacetic is a tough one to find Memes or quotes for today. Copacetic is a slang term used by some for letting everyone know that everything is alright, but in some cases it’s not alright and there is a cry for help. Join SSG Derrick Iozzio tonight for Warriors for Life (WFL) as he discusses the word ‘copacetic’ and the meaning for invisible wounds/disabilities. Check on your friends, your buddies, and other veterans to see if everything is really ‘copacetic!’ In leadership things can be copacetic for a second or a minute, maybe even a day, then it all changes quickly. Be ready for the change. May you find that things and life are actually okay and copacetic this fine day; may you have the right attitude to search out the true answer to that question; may your mind, body, and soul be opened to grace, goodness, peace, forgiveness, and a continued bountiful life of purpose; and keep your family safe, secure, happy, and healthy. Here’s hoping that Everything is okay – its copacetic for you. What does copacetic look like for you?” – COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

I expect you have questions and may be apprehensive at times about COVID and the short-term future for you and those you love. Hopefully your faith in God sustains you. HE cares for you and I more than we will ever know. I pray that we place our trust in God alone and that HE blesses us with assurance. ‘For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.’ [Jeremiah 29:11 ESV] my sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown.

Many of us appear to be cool, calm and collected on the exterior and yearn to appear copacetic even while wearing a mask or two. In this COVID-risk season many add an external mask over the mask of emotions we generally wear. God knows us better than know ourselves and yet HE loves us unconditionally. God accepts us as we are and loves us so much, HE is changing us into the best version of ourselves we can possibly be – through sanctification. ‘This is like the days of Noah to me: as I swore that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth, so I have sworn that I will not be angry with you, and will not rebuke you. For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed,” says the LORD, who has compassion on you.’ [Isaiah 54:9-10]
I lift the severely troubled, those with recurrent nightmares, those who are terrified about the present and the future, and those afraid of encroaching darkness – especially the young children – to YOU dear LORD. I pray that YOU motivate those around them including parents and guardians to sooth their fears. YOU alone are the ever-present help and yet YOU enable parents, guardians and siblings to comfort when a human tough is required. ‘Now they were bringing even infants to him that he might touch them. And when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them. But Jesus called them to him, saying, “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” Luke 18:15-17 ESV]
I pray for the peacemakers in every nation, town and family – especially those facing severe resistance to efforts to bring peace. I pray that YOU bless each peacemaker with endurance and grace. I pray that YOU restrain those focused on disrupting and withholding peace on earth as well as the spirit realm. ‘Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.’ [Matthew 5: 9-12 ESV]
I pray that each natural descendant of Judah who is YOURS and each adopted child of YOURs that YOU grafted in who reads this prayer is blessed with eyes to see, ears to hear, wisdom and grace in these challenging times. ‘But blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they hear. For truly, I say to you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.’ Matthew 13:16-17 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members sleep well Thursday night and will awake refreshed and healthy on Friday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Amen COL Mikel J. Burroughs it is always a good time to put things in "excellent order". I recall being around not only leaders or supervisors but fellow coworkers as well that cultivated a copacetic atmosphere that motivated other employees to work as a smoothly oiled team. To this day, I embrace being in the presence of these types of individuals. I hope the RP Community will walk in a copacetic day.

We can only hope that RallyPoint will be copacetic today - it can be hit or miss PO3 Phyllis Maynard, but your comment about a copacetic environment and place to work is "spot on" for today's message... Have a great day Phyllis...
