Good morning Col Burroughs. We've all seen the brilliant leader who can't get things done. You have to be able to connect, to harness it and use it correctly. It is particularly a problem when the leader is so taken with their own abilities that they overlook others. Don't get caught up in yourself. Work to make others shine and you will be the brighter for it.

Hopefully your inner brilliance is rather constant instead of ebbing and flowing on the basis of the circumstances you and/or your loved ones are experiencing. I lift parents, managers and leaders of all sorts to YOU LORD. Sift us like wheat from all impurity, evil intents of the heart, falsehood, and prejudice for/against human characteristics we have no control over. Thank you, LORD for sanctification as YOU purge and prune us of desires, false teachings, and anything else which is inclined to separate us from YOU. YOU are the true light of the world. Far too many people trust in their own understanding of ‘reality’ and consider themselves to be brilliant despite the paucity of evidence. As far as the haughty and prideful and expense of others are concerned, thankfully ‘Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall. It is better to be of a lowly spirit with the poor than to divide the spoil with the proud.’ [Proverbs 16:18-19 ESV]

YOU revealed through the prophet Isaiah that YOU shall be our light in eternity. Hopefully your inner brilliance is rather constant instead of ebbing and flowing on the basis of the circumstances you and/or your loved ones are experiencing. I pray LORD that bless each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters who reads this prayer with a large measure of humility, kindness, and wisdom. Let YOUR light cleanse us of all impurity. Fulfill YOUR word in and through us, dear LORD. “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden… In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven." [Matthew 5:14, 15-16 ESV]
I lift parents, managers and leaders of all sorts to YOU LORD. Sift us like wheat from all impurity, evil intents of the heart, falsehood, and prejudice for/against human characteristics we have no control over. Empower each of us to teach those we are responsible for wisely with appropriate knowledge and skills.
Thank you, LORD for sanctification as YOU purge and prune us of desires, false teachings, and anything else which is inclined to separate us from YOU. YOU are the true light of the world. Each of us, were previously inclined to darkness until YOU regenerated our heart/soul. ‘for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord. Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.’ [ Ephesians 5 9-12 ESV]
Far too many people trust in their own understanding of ‘reality’ and consider themselves to be brilliant despite the paucity of evidence. The luminaries of this age attract fawning sycophants who praise them ad nauseum. As far as the haughty and prideful and expense of others are concerned, thankfully ‘Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall. It is better to be of a lowly spirit with the poor than to divide the spoil with the proud.’ [Proverbs 16:18-19 ESV]
Thank you, LORD for the Light of YOUR Word, the brilliance of YOUR presence and YOUR limitless love for each of YOUR own. YOU revealed through the prophet Isaiah that YOU shall be our light in eternity. 'The sun shall be no more your light by day, nor for brightness shall the moon give you light; but the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory. Your sun shall no more go down, nor your moon withdraw itself; for the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your days of mourning shall be ended.’ [Isaiah 60:19-20 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members sleep well Tuesday night and will awake refreshed and healthy on Wednesday morning.
