What did you want to get or learn from RallyPoint when you first joined?

My question hasn't been asked, I checked. I want to know what your expectations were when you joined RallyPoint and have they been met?

For me, I expected RallyPoint to be just another social media site like Facebook or LinkedIn. I was really surprised by some of the very sharp, professional, and outstanding individuals that I've interacted with to-date on the site. I'm glad that I've helped influence a few individuals in the right direction and help a few with advice and motivation. Some of the discussions have been very helpful and informative. There are individuals that take the time to really post great questions, topics, and provide excellent feedback. It is more than just a social media site for me. It's a great place to provide information for others in areas that are important to you as the individual and to gain insight and feedback from others. I really feel like I've made some lasting connections and friendships from afar!
