Trying to reenlist with an RE-3G?
Alright so here goes, I was honorably discharged with an RE-3G code for an adjustment disorder. Since getting out I've worked as a defense contractor and attended school to aquire my airframes and powerplant cert. I've heard it's very difficult to reenlist with an RE-3 for behavioural health issues but I'd like to fight it and reenlist. What steps do I need to take to get a waiver?

You are correct, BH issues are extremely hard to waive given the possibility for reoccurrence. You will need to go speak with a recruiter and start the waiver requirements

The best step is to contact your recruiter and they will put in the waiver. You can't put in the waiver by yourself. The steps are you work with a recruiter to try to get reinlisted.

What branch do you want to go into. If your trying to go Army, don't. They are not approving behavioral waivers from the navy. You can thank Bo Berghdal.
I'm not trying to be negative, just honest.
