Trying to reclassify from 25B to 17C?
Trying to reclassify from 25B to 17C. Any tips on the AIT? What to expect, how hard to study etc? I have some cyber experience but nothing major to make me a genius like the dude on MR.Robot so what are my chances of failing and or passing? 25B was easy just tedious is it more or less the same ?

Have you considered the National guard . From what I understand they’ll take you in Aslong as you have the lines scores . When you get back from Ait you can start a career in Cyber on the civilian side w all the training you have plus stay in national guard .

I am currently going through the reclass process, but I've talked to multiple people in that MOS along with Retention and higher ranking 25 series, all of which recommend studying a wide array of subjects, not specialize/focus on a single topic. For myself, I attained several CompTia and CEH certifications, which is said to aid in a sime of what will be covered throughout the 17C MOS. Regardless, 17C is actually much more computer and CompSci orientated oppose to 25 series, so aquatint yourself with a broad array of concepts to which AIT will build upon later. If you wish to know which concepts to study and other in depth concepts, DM me anytime. Good luck!
