What this report didn’t tell you was that Ashley Auzenne was an adamant gun control activist. Her friend, Mary Dybka, reportedly said Ashley Auzenne was vocal about her disdains of guns and gun violence. Dybka said the pair would joke that Ashley was “more Yankee then Texan with her Democratic views and strict gun control beliefs.” This is complete and utter projection, but that’s exactly what a lot of what the anti-gun movement is virtue signaling and projection.

I have believed for a long time that people on the left project their own personal demons, insecurities, racism, lack of self control, and derangement, all onto the right. Usually, they impugn motives. It's why they consider AR-15 owners to be potential mass murderers, and can offer no legitimate non-murder reason for why people might have one.
