A Prayer for America.

Dear Lord, 18 years ago today my America was attacked by an enemy force. 18 years ago today, 3000 of my countrymen perished needlessly. 18 years ago today, 3000 Americans left their dwelling looking forward to visiting the NYC sights; catching an airplane to visit or return from a visit or just went to a place that defends our nation. 18 years ago today, these innocent people never made it home again; they never got to see that spouse for a final time, their children, parents or grandparents again; their life all at once was no more. Dear Lord, I ask you to pass on them that they are still missed; that they are not forgotten and as long as we live they never will be. We all look forward to that wonderful reunion. Finally Lord, please continue to bless everyone in America and especially all those relatives and friends of those that perished 18 years ago today. They are still hurting. Lord, after 18 years we still need your help, be with us as we go forward today. Amen
