But, but... they are safe from the horrible dangers of their country of origin.
Being in detention is not fun. Don't like it?
Don't break the law.
If Congress would appropriate sufficient resources, this wouldn't be reality.
One more thing.
Anyone who has ever seen a real torture facility knows that this is not what they look like.
This "private practice physician" doesn't know dick about such things, and should keep her opinions to things she does know about, like hygiene and nutrition.
No doubt things could be better in these facilities, but the use of hyperbole does not help anyone's case.

Definition of inhumane: Lacking human qualities of compassion and mercy; cruel and barbaric.
I didn't realize that the lack of a toothbrush or soap was cruel and barbaric. Chaining them to a wall and not feeding them, then yeah, I would consider that cruel and barbaric.
Remember how they got there though. If their parents did not sneak them across the border illegally, they wouldn't be in the country and we would not even be having this conversation.
