Awaiting someone to defend this. Further proof he doesn't give a damn about others than his own

As others have weighed in already about private versus public schools SSgt Ray Stone, I would like to remind everybody that the recent SCOTUS decision supported private schools ability to determine policy for what is to be taught, who can be hired, and overall policy which was a direct shot against liberal progressive California which is where the case originated. Justice Alito wrote the majority opinion [7 to 2].
1. You deride the POTUS for attempting to get schools to reopen wherever it makes great sense to do so [not California, Chicago, Washington, D.C (close to where I currently live), Philadelphia (my birth city)].
2. The ones most terrified by the current virus known as SARS-CoV-2 tend to be progressives. I don't know why that is the case. The vast majority of people who get infected by SARS-CoV-2 survive.
3. If you are a disabled veteran then you probably received the letter from the VA trying to encourage veterans infected SARS-CoV-2 to donate plasma.
4. In a couple months we should be able to get vaccinated against this virus. I plan on asking my VAMC primary care doctor to put me into a vaccination trial since I have a number of pre-existing conditions.
5. Those same pre-existing conditions and the medications I take for them, resulted in my termination at the end of June 201, after 20 years of employment, as the Affordable Care Act was being implemented.
I concur with your assessment my friend 1SG (Join to see)

I'm betting President Trump didn't have any voice in whether his son's school opened or not. Do you have any evidence to the contrary.

If not what is your point?

He doesn’t have a point. Just like the rest of them he looks for any little potential scrap he can to smear POTUS.

Private school does not equal public school.
Public schools are publicly funded and have elected leadership. They make decisions that are accountable to voters.
Private schools are funded by tuition and are accountable to the folks that send their kids there. Don't like what they're doing? Vote with your feet.
Yet another commercial why we need vouchers and allow parents to use that money to place their kids in a school of their choice.

Charter schools using voucher money do not always do a good job of education. Their performance for children's education can be mediocre in similarity to veterans using GI Bill money at for-profit schools for adult education. Regulation can be lax, curriculum can be dubious and some even allowed their facilities to be used as a nightclub serving alcohol after hours.

LTC Eugene Chu - That would be a very good reason for a parent to do a little due dilligence. Sort of like when I was choosing where to build my new home - the quality of the local schools was the single most important variable.
