http://WALSH: Simone Biles Quit On Her Team And Her Country. She Should Not Be Celebrated For It. https://www.dailywire.com/news/walsh-simone-biles-quit-on-her-team-and-her-country-she-should-not-be-celebrated-for-it
What is most interesting is not who broke down due to stress but how many these days are completely breaking down to "stress". From politicians claiming PTSD due to watching the Jan 6 riots from across the way, college students requiring courses and examinations be reworked, or this famous athlete blaming her utter failure on stress, it would seem this country has raised a several generations of squishy, neurotic, weakminded children who are incapable of dealing with life. One can only assume at this point the very same mindset has found its way into the military, and we are left to wonder just how this will affect our ability to fight and win wars in the future.

SGT Joseph Gunderson I think she made the right decision for herself - spatial disorientation made her susceptible to injuring herself not the least of her stressors...that said, your follow-up poses an interesting discussion also. A generation of everyone gets a trophy is now finding that adulting is a hard reality where coping with failure is a necessary skill. May our military rise to the occasion

She herself has said in press conferences that she backed out solely because of her mental health. She said it wasn't fun, that she felt too much pressure, and that she felt her teammates would be fine without her. The spatial disorientation is the new excuse being made because there has been so much backlash over her selfishness and cowardice.

SGT Joseph Gunderson great share, one can only understand their mental health. It is unfortunate but mental toughness is as important as physical
